Muzzle Zone

I've been using a muzzle from The Muzzle Movement for my dog, Finnegan, for several years now. Overall, I would say the muzzle is well-designed, comfortable, and has been an important tool in helping us manage some of his behavioral challenges.

Finnegan is a rescue dog with resource guarding tendencies. While a muzzle is not a solution on its own, it has been an invaluable part of our toolbox for safely managing situations and giving everyone in the household greater peace of mind. It has helped us feel more comfortable and confident while continuing to work on his behavior. Finnegan is a wonderful dog 99% of the time, and having a muzzle available when needed has made a real difference in supporting both him and the people around him.

My one criticism is regarding the durability. The company advertises a lifetime guarantee, and while they absolutely seem to honor that guarantee, I've had two muzzles break over the years. I will add however that Finnegan is far from a small dog, he's fast and strong and not the brightest bulb. The last muzzle broke when he ran full speed into a fence post while racing our other dog. I will say that the muzzles have endured more than I reasonably expected.

That said, the replacement process has been among the best customer service experiences I've ever had. On both occasions, all I had to do was send a few photos of the damage, and replacement muzzles were sent out quickly with no hassle. The process was straightforward, efficient, and genuinely appreciated.

Overall, despite my concerns about long-term durability, I would still recommend The Muzzle Movement because of the quality of the design, its usefulness as a management tool, and the outstanding customer support that stands behind the product.

I'm in love with the colours on this muzzle (khaki and olive biothane), though that's not the main reason we love it! It fits my oddly proportioned rescue mixed breed fantastically, and he's able to drink/eat/pant etc. I love that we could add a foam padded noseband for his comfort too.

Gives us peace of mind on walk since he's a scavenger, and also can get mouthy when he's overstimulated/overaroused!! One of the best purchases we've made.

The muzzle is very well made and fits great. I love the colour options, which make the muzzle look far less scary. I got the muzzle because our rescue is a rock eater and I want to be able to safely take them to the beach. Training them to be happy wearing the muzzle went a lot better than I thoit would, we've taken things really slowly and our dog has accepted every step happily. I'm now looking forward to our trip to the seaside.

Hazel was trained to wear a standard baskerville muzzle because she doesn't like to be touched and we wanted to keep everyone safe during vet visits. On our last vet visit in March the vet suggested that we upgrade to a muzzle with more pant room ahead of the summer. We bought a size Tolly muzzle and I was worried about having to reshape it but it's a really good fit so thankfully I didn't have to work on reshaping it. There's a great choice of colours and we deliberated for ages over what to get, she doesn't need multiple muzzles but I would actually love having a few and changing it up depending how I'm feeling on the day.

I am so happy I found this muzzle that is great quality, comfortable and my dog is still able to have treats, drink water and explore comfortably while on walks. My partner and I just adopted a 7 year old rescue and this has been so helpful as we get to know her quirks around people and other dogs. I’m looking into buying a new one and love the customization options too.

I bought two muzzles for each of my dogs. I have had both muzzles for almost three years and they’re still brand new (almost). Other brands had left the skin close to my dogs nose scarred so it was a bliss to find a muzzle that fit him and that I could take off easily with the quick clip. I have found that black Chicago screws stay in place longer than Nickle for example. I am maybe the only one person in my area whose dogs wear muzzles that are not black or beige so here I am, spreading the word about this fabulous brand.

We have a poodle mix called Charlie, we got him a muzzle because he eats poop, trash and keeps getting sick because of it. The vet bills kept pilling up.. But this muzzle and the scavenger guard keeps him save and healthy! Great product!

Edit de mon avis, Après plusieurs réglages la muselière lui va plutôt bien ! j'ai serré la sangle de tour de cou de façon a pouvoir y glisser 2 doigts et j'ai sérré la sangle jugulaire un peu plus fort, sa a l'air de bien convenir comme réglage (c'est ma 1ere muselière donc pas trop l'habitude), elle a suffisamment d'espace en hauteur pour pouvoir hâleter ou bailler entièrement
La muselière est peut être un tous petit peu trop large mais je pense que cet été avec la chaleur ses joues vont combler l'espace lorsqu'elle va hâleter

Love this muzzle! My dog has plenty of room to pant and I like that it has a lot of air flow. The scavenger guard is perfect to keep him from eating everything he sees.

Rodney's Neli*. Rodney came in for a fitting, he had a great time at the fitting and his Neli* muzzle looks amazing. Not quite a perfect fit but with Greyhounds its what I was expecting (but extra pant room and more durable than his greyhound muzzle). Would love a size suited for the long snoots at some point though

Bought this after a $10k surgery because my dog ate too much grass.. wish I had found this sooner, no more boredom grazing and I have peach of mind letting her roam the yard freely!
