Please note we cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses, any orders placed to an APO/FPO address will be returned to our unit by the postal service and there would be a re-shipping fee to send the item to a new address.
You have a 30 min window to edit your order - just head back to your order confirmation page and you will be able to make edits
After that, changes aren't possible, and your order would need to be cancelled and re-ordered.
This doesn't apply to pre ordered items, which can be edited or cancelled up to a month prior to shipping.
Pre-made (Ready-to-Ship) items when ordered alone will ship within 1 working day. These items are labelled as ready to ship items on our website.
Made-to-Order muzzles and multi-colour lead and collars are made to order, and take 10 days for creation prior to shipment. If your order contains both pre-made items and a made to order item, the entire order will ship together in 10 days once all items are completed.
Jumpers will be shipped in a 10 day time frame unless we have them in stock in which case they will ship within 3 working days.
You will receive an email once your order is completed and shipped.
When ordering pre-order muzzles or items in advance of manufacturing to raise the funds required, it will state on each individual listing when the orders are due to be shipped.
Orders placed after 12 midday will be shipped the next working day. Orders placed after 12 midday on Friday will be shipped on Monday.
If you are booked into one of our fitting days you will be able to take your muzzle home with you straight from our unit on the day.

All countries except Norway, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore now have taxes and import duties in the price so there will be no further fees to pay when the order arrives in your country.

Yes! Our loyalty club allows you to earn points whilst you shop or complete fun tasks such as sharing photos and videos of your dog in their muzzle. You can then use the loyalty points to purchase vouchers to spend on the website or free items!

All of our muzzles are named after dogs that we have loved or that have made a big impact on us in some way!
We've chosen to name our sizes rather than assign numbers. This approach helps us manage future size releases smoothly; for instance, if we introduce new, smaller sizes, what is currently 'size 2' might become 'size 4' to prevent confusion down the line. Naming them simply avoids this potential mix-up and honours the dogs we love!

The basket of the muzzles are made from injection-molded polyethylene (plastic) which is a very common plastic, used to make everything from food containers to replacement knee joints!
The strapping is made of biothane, which is PVC coated webbing, if you want to read more about how we make muzzles you can do so here.
Whilst there is no industry standard for what is considered 'bite proof', our muzzles are made from solid, non-flexible plastic designed to be strong, secure and long-lasting. We disagree with the use of the term 'Bite-proof'. We have a blog post on this topic you can read all about it here!
No but you can add a scavenger guard to your muzzle for this!
Due to the treat hole in the front of the muzzle, our muzzles are not suitable to prevent dogs from scavenging without our scavenger guard which clips onto the front of the muzzle. We have regular Scavenger Guards and Extra Secure Scavenger Guards available.

Each size we create has its own dedicated tool so we are unfortunately not able to offer custom sizing. However, we do have plans to release more sizes, with the long term goal of have an all-inclusive size range. You can Pre-Order upcoming sizes here.
The colours and any accessories attached to your muzzle are customisable.
Yes, you are welcome to boil and reshape the width of the muzzle a small amount. However, please be aware that we haven't tested how boiling might affect the plastic's integrity, so any reshaping is done at your discretion and risk. Once a muzzle has been boiled and reshaped, it unfortunately cannot be returned.

We are continuously working on expanding our range of sizes and are committed to becoming fully size-inclusive. Each new size undergoes a thorough design and testing process before it's made available for pre-order. Our aim is to ensure we can offer options that cater to a wide variety of face shapes.
Yes any muzzle can be returned or exchanged so long as it meets our returns policy. Please ensure your muzzle is returned in new and clean condition within 30 days of receiving it.

Due to the unique shape of our muzzles we are unable to compare them to the measurements of regular muzzles.
However, we also understand that in some cases it is just not possible to get measurements and if this is the case please email us at support@themuzzlemovement.com or take a look at our guide for alternative measuring methods here and we will be more than happy to help.
Our muzzles are designed to facilitate a full pant. However, this depends on accurate measurements and the correct sizing.
We understand how important it is for a dog to be able to pant in a muzzle, and you can read more about this here in our muzzle fit blog.

The safety and well-being of you and your dog is our number one priority, which is why all metal hardware and plastic basket components are warrantied against breakage for life.
In the rare event that a metal or plastic component fails, it will be repaired free of charge or replacement hardware/Basket will be mailed.
All required shipping to/from our workshop for gear to be repaired is at buyer's expense.
Please note that the finish on plated metal hardware components can wear with use and change colour over time - this is normal and not covered by the hardware warranty. The warranty does not cover muzzles purchased second hand, proof of purchase will be required.
For safety purposes, dogs should always be supervised while wearing collars and muzzles and all fittings should be inspected regularly. For more information on how to proceed with a warranty repair, or read our terms and conditions please visit Hardware warranty.
Adding an extra point of attachment can help to further secure the muzzle. The need for additional security can vary depending on the individual dog. Some of the additional straps are designed to be detachable and/or adjustable, so you can remove them if you find they are not needed.

By upgrading to Chicago screws you are able to detach your strapping in case you would like to change it in the future. You are also better able to make small modifications to your muzzle fit, with the need to cut off your existing biothane.

Please note - Chicago screws can sometimes gradually come undone over time, therefore you must regularly check to ensure that they are still secure. Alternatively, once you have your ideal fit or colour combination, you can 'loc-tite' your chicago screws closed. We have a video to help you with this here.

Most dogs will wear a collar sized 1-5cm larger than their snug neck measurement depending on body build, fur length, and personal preference for fit.
All collar measurements listed are in centimetres, and are measured when the collar is unbuckled and laying flat on a tape measure.
