Have you heard the news? The team at The Muzzle Movement has been hard at work researching our most popular Biothane colours and we are thrilled to announce some exciting new additions to our colour range! Why Light Brown? One of the top requests we received was for a brown option. After careful consideration, we are excited to introduce a beautiful light brown shade to our Biothane colour range. This versatile colour is sure to be a hit with those looking for a classic and timeless option. Introducing Magenta Pink After discovering that pastel pink and neon pink were fan favourites, we decided to introduce a new option in the pink range - the stunning Magenta Pink! This vibrant and eye-catching shade is sure to make a statement and add a pop of colour to your gear. Meet Amethyst Purple We also found out that pastel purple is a huge hit with our customers, so we wanted to expand our purple range with the introduction of Amethyst Purple. This rich and luxurious hue is perfect for anyone who loves the colour purple and wants to stand out from the crowd. Say Hello to Periwinkle While pastel blue was one of the least favourite colours, we believe that Periwinkle is a fantastic alternative. This slightly bolder shade it is versatile and stylish, making it a great choice for those looking for something different. Sage Green: Founder's Favourite Now, here's where things get personal. Our founder has a soft spot for sage green. It's calming, earthy, and just a touch whimsical - basically, it's the colour equivalent of a warm hug. So, of course, we had to add sage green to our lineup. It's a no-brainer! With these new additions to our colour range, we are confident that you will find the perfect shade to suit your style and make a statement.  Whether you prefer bold and vibrant hues or subtle and elegant tones, The Muzzle Movement has something for everyone! Discover the array of Biothane Strapping Colours next to our Basket colours to envision your perfect combination! Use the key below to identify the name of the colour.             The Lime green basket, Red basket and Azure blue basket are being discontinued! Which means, once we sell out of our current stock in sizes Sunny, Neli and Tolly, we won't be re-stocking and will be saying goodbye! So don't wait to order - once they're sold out, they are gone!         Peach has remained in the Biothane Range we offer because of popular demand. Why are we bidding farewell to caribbean green, apple green, lagune, pastel blue, violet and white from our Biothane colour range. With the introduction of our new colors, we will be bidding farewell to a few of our other colors. While Caribbean green and apple green didn't quite hit the mark with our customers, we are confident that sage green will more than make up for their absence. Similarly, lagune and pastel blue didn't see much love, but teal will remain and we are excited to introduce periwinkle as an alternative. Unfortunately, violet and white also didn't quite make the cut, so we will be saying goodbye to these colors. We will be discounting these colors and removing them as options from our website. Keep an eye out for discounted stock in these colors!

Warranty & Repairs We understand that dogs (and the elements) can be tough on their gear. While we take great care to source only high-quality, durable materials, accidents can happen, and sometimes items break. The safety of you and your dog is our top priority, which is why we offer a lifetime warranty on all metal hardware and plastic baskets against breakage, for the lifetime of your dog, which we define as approximately 14 years. In the rare event that a metal or plastic component fails, we will repair it free of charge or, where possible, send a replacement. Please Note: If the item was received more than 30 days ago, the customer will be responsible for the cost of re-shipping any replacement or warrantied items. If your muzzle has removable accessories that can be transferred to the replacement item, these accessories will not be re-shipped or replaced. STEP 1 Email us at support@themuzzlemovement.com to let us know the problem you are having, include photos where possible   STEP 2 We will send you our address for you to be able to ship the product back to us. IMPORTANT! Please include your name and contact information in the parcel so that you can be notified when the item is completed or contacted if there are questions regarding your item. It is recommended that tracked shipping be used for sending items back for repairs. **INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS: Please mark your packages"return of goods" on any customs documentation to avoid the shipment incurring import taxes upon arrival to the workshop. All shipping costs for items sent in for repair are the responsibility of the buyer   STEP3 We will let you know how to pay for the item to be returned back to you once we receive it, and you will be charged once the item is ready to be shipped! Some repairs are not covered by warranty (chewing of biothane, muzzle etc.), however we are still happy to repair these items and give them new life! If the chew damage is impacting the Biothane on the muzzle, you can order replacement strapping HERE.  We can also resize an item if your pup didn't grow as much as you thought or they grew out of an existing collar. Simply reach out to us at support@themuzzlemovement.com and we can get a quote together.  Please note that the finish on plated metal hardware components can wear with use and change colour over time - this is normal and not covered by the hardware warranty. For safety purposes, dogs should always be supervised while wearing collars and muzzles. All fittings should be inspected regularly.
Measuring for a collar

Measuring for a collar

by Clara Hewson on Jun 15 2023
Measuring for a Collar There are a couple of options to ensure your new collar will be the ideal fit for your dog! The 'perfect fit' depends on personal preference, some guardians (and dogs!) prefer a looser collar, whereas dogs who are walked with a lead attached to their collar would need a more secure fit which they couldn't slip out of! Regardless of use, no collar should ever be too tight and we recommend being able to fit two fingers between the dogs neck and the collar to ensure it is comfortable. We provide 2 widths of collar, 1" (25mm wide) are suitable for medium-giant breeds, or some smaller breeds with long necks (whippets etc) and 5/8" (16mm wide) are suitable for small-medium breeds, or some large breeds who are not walked on a collar but have one for identification purposes.  To check the length of collar you need, you could measure your dogs existing collar (unbuckled or unclipped and laid flat) if they have one which fits well, and order one from us which is the same size. (Pic of quick clip collar being measured) If you'd prefer to measure your dog directly - here's our top tips! The measurements of our collars are the actual lengths of the collar, unbuckled and laid flat, from the buckle to the smallest hole and largest hole respectively. Therefore, you will need to add a couple of centimetres to their 'snug' neck measurement to allow for a comfortable fit.
