Size Mitzy is the largest option in our Short & Wide Fit collection and the Largest Muzzle we offer. It is designed specifically for large and giant breeds with broad skulls and relatively short noses who require increased width, depth, and airflow space beyond Size Harry 2.0.

📏 Who Is Mitzy For?

Mitzy is ideal for:

• Large and giant dogs with broad heads

• Dogs with relatively short noses and strong jaw structure

• Breeds requiring maximum width 

• Dogs too large for Size Harry 2.0

⚠️ We do not recommend sizing by breed alone. Head width, snout length, and pant style vary significantly within breeds.

• Standard Mitzy muzzle (with rivets & buckle): 272.5g

Built for durability and stability while remaining comfortable for regular wear.

🧵 What’s Included

All made-to-order Mitzy muzzles come as standard with:

• Basket

• Noseband

• Adjustable Biothane neck strap

• Secure buckle fastening

• Riveted strap attachment

Straps are permanently attached using rivets for strength and safety. They cannot be removed without cutting.

Optional upgrades are available but are not required for full functionality.

🪛 Hardware Note

If you choose:

• Black strapping

• Nickel hardware

Your muzzle will come fitted with Chicago screws as standard.

🧵 Noseband Options Explained

The only difference between the standard noseband and the * version is width:

• Standard noseband

• *Noseband = 38mm Biothane (adds slight extra length when paired with the basket)

The basket itself does not change.

If selecting the foam-padded noseband, Chicago screws are used for attachment. Two shorter screws are included if you later remove the foam.

Choosing the correct width and depth is especially important for larger breeds.

The majority of sizing issues come from estimating rather than measuring. Taking a few minutes to measure now ensures:
