🐾 Size Mitzy Dog Muzzle

Ready to Ship – Lightweight Basket Muzzle for Large & Giant Short-Snouted Dogs

Need a secure, specialist-fit muzzle quickly for a large, broad-headed dog?

Our Ready to Ship Size Mitzy Dog Muzzles dispatch within 1 working day and arrive exactly as shown in the photos, including colour combination and fastening type.

No production wait time. No custom delays. Just a trusted fit, shipped fast.

🚀 Why Choose Ready to Ship?

✔ Ships within 1 working day
✔ Colours and hardware visible before purchase
✔ No made-to-order timeline
✔ Same trusted Mitzy fit and behaviour-led design

What you see is exactly what you receive.

✨ Why Choose Size Mitzy?

Size Mitzy is the largest option in our Short & Wide Fit collection, and largest muzzle we offer.

It is designed specifically for large and giant breeds with broad heads and relatively short noses who require greater internal width, depth, and airflow space than Size Harry 2.0.

This is a basket muzzle, meaning when fitted correctly your dog can:

✔ Pant safely
✔ Drink water
✔ Take treats
✔ Move comfortably

Designed by a team of animal behaviourists, Mitzy prioritises welfare, airflow, and secure structure, even for strong breeds.

🛠 Refined Design Features

✔ Increased Panting Space
Offers expanded internal room to support safe panting for larger, stronger dogs.

✔ Updated Head Strap Attachment
Creates a sleeker profile and reduces visual obstruction.

✔ Softened Comfort Edges
All key contact points are smoothed to enhance comfort during wear.

⚖️ Strong Yet Balanced

• Mitzy basket only: 210g

• Standard Mitzy muzzle (with rivets & buckle): 272.5g

Built for durability and stability while remaining comfortable for regular wear.

📏 Fit & Sizing Confidence

Mitzy is ideal for:

• Large and giant dogs with broad heads

• Dogs with relatively short noses

• Powerful breeds requiring maximum width within the Short & Wide range

• Dogs too large for Size Harry 2.0

⚠️ We do not recommend sizing by breed alone. Head width, snout length, and pant style vary significantly within breeds.

The majority of sizing issues come from estimating rather than measuring. Taking a few minutes to measure now ensures appropriate panting space, secure positioning, and avoids rubbing later.

Please check our Measuring Guide before purchasing.

If you’re unsure between Harry 2.0 and Mitzy, contact our team at support@themuzzlemovement.com, we’re happy to help.

🐶 Breeds Mitzy May Suit (Guide Only)

• XL Bully types

• Akitas

• Large Alaskan Malamutes

• Bullmastiffs

• Caucasian Shepherds

• Large Rottweilers

• Large Cane Corsos

• Newfoundlands

Measurements are essential for confidence in sizing.

🧵 Noseband Options Explained

The only difference between the standard noseband and the * version is width:

• Standard noseband

• *Noseband = 38mm Biothane (adds slight extra length when paired with the basket)

The basket itself does not change.

📦 Shipping Note

If your order includes additional items that are not eligible for 1 working day dispatch, your entire order will ship together according to the longer timeline.

If you need your muzzle urgently, we recommend ordering it separately.

The Muzzle Movement Difference

We design muzzles that allow dogs to:

• Pant

• Drink

• Take treats

• Move comfortably

Because a muzzle should provide safety and comfort, not punishment.

This listing is part of the muzzle listing - not to purchase.

🛡️ Scavenger Guard Upgrade – Added Protection on Walks

Upgrade your muzzle with our Scavenger Guard for extra peace of mind on walks.

The patent-pending Scavenger Guard (2404638.5) clips securely onto the front of your muzzle, covering the treat hole and central front panel to help prevent your dog from picking up and eating harmful or unwanted items.

Designed with training in mind, it can be easily clipped on and off, so you can remove it whenever you want access to the treat hole for rewarding your dog.

Why choose the Scavenger Guard upgrade?

✓ Helps block access to potentially dangerous or inappropriate items on walks
✓ Helps reduce the risk of accidental ingestion
✓ Useful when preventing accidental ingestion is especially important, including around surgery and recovery
✓ Clips on and off easily for flexible training and treat access
✓ Secure and noise-free when attached
✓ Gives added peace of mind in higher-risk environments

🐾 Size Pippa Dog Muzzle

Lightweight Basket Muzzle for Short & Wide Faces.

Struggling to find a dog muzzle that truly fits a short, broad head shape, without compromising on comfort or pant space?

Size Pippa is the smallest muzzle in our Short & Wide Fit collection, specifically designed for dogs with shorter snouts and broader facial structure.

Made to order in your chosen colours, Pippa combines specialist fit with behaviour-led, welfare-first design.

Pippa comes with a chin strap as standard.

✨ Why Choose the Size Pippa Dog Muzzle?

✔ Designed for Short, Wide Head Shapes
Pippa is engineered for dogs with shorter snouts and broader proportions who often struggle with traditional muzzle shapes.

✔ Shortest Length in Our Current Range
This is the shortest basket we offer while still maintaining safe, functional panting and treat space.

✔ Contoured for Undershot Jaws
The area beneath the treat hole is gently bowed outward to accommodate slightly undershot bites, helping ensure comfort even for unique jaw shapes.

✔ Behaviour-Informed Panting Space
Designed by a team of animal behaviourists, Pippa supports safe panting, drinking, and treat delivery when fitted correctly, even for compact muzzle lengths.

✔ Smooth Comfort Touchpoints
Finished with smooth internal and cheek edges to help minimise rubbing and pressure points.

✔ Vision-Friendly Head Strap Design
A flat head strap fastening reduces visual obstruction and supports spatial awareness.

✔ Streamlined Internal Structure
Thinner internal bars create a sleeker, lighter feel without sacrificing strength or stability.

✔ Made to Order
Choose your custom colours and create a muzzle that feels confident, not clinical.

✔ Ethical Basket Design
This is a basket muzzle created with welfare at the forefront, ensuring your dog can pant, drink, and take treats comfortably when fitted correctly.

📏 Who Is Pippa For?

Pippa is ideal for:

• Dogs with short, broad snouts

• Bully-type head shapes
