This listing is for size Atlas.

This muzzle is planned to be - 7 - 9.5cm length, 20cm height and 20cm width.

We are still trying on different dogs and editing the design, but we can confirm this sizes anticipated internal measurements.

First off, we want to thank you for your patience and support. Unfortunately, we've faced a bit of a challenge—our goal of 250 preorders for the Atlas size has decreased due to several customers swapping to the Mitzy size, which will be available again in December for January delivery. 

If you're considering an alternative, the Mitzy size can be stretched by boiling the muzzle to fit an Atlas width. The pant room is the same as the Mitzy, so if you’d like to switch to the Mitzy size or would like more information, just let us know and we’ll be happy to help you make the best decision for your pup.

We’re also actively looking into a more cost-effective way to produce the Atlas tooling, but to be completely transparent, production won’t start until the end of next year (2025). We understand this is a long wait, and if you'd prefer to explore other brands, we’re happy to offer recommendations, or you can switch to the Mitzy size.

This size is suitable for extra large bully breeds with very broad heads, but please check your measurements following our measurements guide. If you enter them into the quiz, the quiz won't recommend size Atlas yet, but you can compare measurements to our approximate size chart. Please remember, this size does not yet exist so all images are 3D printed prototypes or computer generated there may be minor changes in measurements when we receive the final moulds, but we have provided the most accurate information possible at this time.

We are PRE-selling this muzzle in advance of manufacturing to raise the funds required. Therefore we don't know when this size will be ready, and is likely to not go into production before late 2025. Please note, that if you have anything else included in your order, it will all ship at the same time as your Atlas muzzle, if you want other items in your order sooner - you will need to place two orders any pay for two lots of shipping. 

Orders will ship in line with when the order was placed, with early Atlas orders receiving their muzzle first and late Atlas orders receiving their muzzle last. The only exception to this is when we are waiting for stock.

All customisable muzzles come as standard with a noseband and an adjustable neck strap with a buckle fastening. Straps are attached with rivets, meaning they cannot be removed or replaced without cutting them off. Please note that while there are optional upgrades available, they are not necessary for the muzzle to function.

The difference between Atlas and Atlas* is the width of the nose band, Altas* has a 38mm thick Biothane nose band that when combined with the Atlas basket, can add some length for dogs that need it. The Basket part of the muzzle remains the same.

How does the pre-order process work?

We set a goal to sell 500 Atlas muzzles, that goal is based on how many we need to sell in order to cover costs and have the funds to proceed with the creation of the injection mould. But rather than save up for the moulds and then release the size, we are giving you the opportunity to secure your Atlas muzzle, without being charged, until we have raised the required funds to make this size a reality!

This means, you place an order for Atlas, enter your details but you don't get charged until we reach 50% of our target. Once we reach 50% of our target (250 muzzles) you will be notified, and charged so that we can begin the manufacturing process. You can cancel your order at any time, and make changes to colours whenever you like. You can also update your shipping address at any time should your home address change.

We will send you emails periodically as we hit bit milestones, like 50 pre orders, 100 pre orders and so on. so that you know how close (or far!) we are from this size being a reality. 

Once we have taken payment, we pay our manufacturers 50% of the cost to begin making the injection mould, this takes 10-12 weeks, and from there we need to wait for the baskets to arrive at our workshop, followed by building each of your muzzles individually!

How long might I be waiting?

This really depends on how popular the size you are waiting for is! If you want it to be made quicker, share it with your friends who might have a dog of the same size as you! Once we reach 250 muzzles sold, manufacturing begins and from there it takes approximately 12 weeks for the moulds to land with us in our workshop, where we attach all of the strapping and get them on their way to their new homes!

If we raise the funds outside of the size sales, we might not wait until we reach our 'target' number of sales and we might proceed with the size early! But as always, you will be contacted via email and updated whenever anything changes!
